Did you say junk it with only 2000 miles ? Most people on this site would kill for the new parts on your bike . Do not give up it sounds like who ever gets your bike will fix it and love the price . A engine needs 3 things . #1 fuel , #2 fire , and ##3 compression . if you can turn the motor over by hand with the spark plug out you shoul feel the compression in the spark plug hole with your finger. Compression is usualy a given if you have no broke rod or rocker arm . the problem is most likly fire. check the plug . is the carb getting gas ? If all els fails take it to a pro . If you did brake a rod or something like that and just give up put the parts for sale on the forum . Good luck .
